The story

小雨：大卫，我们回老家过年！David, we're going back to my hometown for New Year!

大卫：老家？老家是什么？Hometown? What's a hometown?

小雨：老家是我爷爷奶奶住的地方。我爸爸小时候也住在那儿。他的小学也在那儿。My hometown is where my grandparents live. My dad lived there as a kid too. His primary school is there too.

大卫：你的老家远不远？Is your hometown far?

小雨：很远，在山里。开车要五个小时。Very far, up in the mountains. It's a five-hour drive.

大卫：包子和大大也回老家吗？Are Baozi and Dada going to the hometown too?

小雨：当然！猫也要回老家过年！Of course! Cats go home for New Year too!

小雨：到了！你看，爷爷奶奶在门口！We're here! Look, Grandpa and Grandma are at the gate!
