The story

大卫：这就是我们的新小区！不仅大，而且很现代！So this is our new compound! Not just big — really modern too!

小雨：你看，还有电梯！以后不用爬楼了！Look, there's even an elevator! No more climbing stairs!

大卫：太好了！以前我每天爬五楼，还要抱着包子。Great! I used to climb five floors every day — carrying Baozi.

小雨：新家在十楼。没有电梯，你会累死的。The new place is on the tenth floor. Without an elevator, you'd die of exhaustion.

大卫：包子，出来吧。……包子？Baozi, come on out. ...Baozi?

小雨：他坐了五次电梯了！他觉得电梯又好玩又舒服。He's ridden the elevator five times already! He thinks it's fun and comfy.

大卫：小区里有超市吗？Is there a supermarket in the compound?

小雨：有啊，就在门口。附近还有两个大超市。Sure, right by the gate. And there are two big supermarkets nearby.
