The story

大卫：爸，你怎么了？你的鼻子这么红！Dad, what's wrong? Your nose is so red!

爸爸：我很难受……头疼，鼻子也不舒服。I feel awful... my head hurts, and my nose is all blocked.

妈妈：我看看。你发烧了，你感冒了。Let me see. You've got a fever. You've caught a cold.

大卫：昨天那么冷，你只穿了一件衣服！It was so cold yesterday, and you only wore one layer!

爸爸：我们那儿冬天更冷，我一次也没感冒过！Winters back home are even colder, and I have never once caught a cold!

爸爸：我难受死了……我要吃药。I feel terrible... I want medicine.

妈妈：感冒不用吃药。多喝水，多休息，自然就好了。You don't need medicine for a cold. Drink lots of water, rest, and it'll get better by itself.

小雨：我妈来了！她听说你感冒了。My mom's here! She heard you've caught a cold.
