The story

大卫：奶奶，您好！今天小雨加班，我想给她做您的菜。Hello, Grandma! Xiaoyu's working late today, so I want to make her one of your dishes.

奶奶：好啊！你要做哪个菜？Lovely! Which dish?

大卫：您做的鸡！小雨说，那是她最喜欢的食物。Your chicken! Xiaoyu says it's her favourite food.

奶奶：我的做法很简单，十岁以下的孩子都会做。先放一点儿油。My way of making it is simple — even kids under ten can do it. First, put in a little oil.

奶奶：通常，一点点油就够了。Usually, just a tiny bit of oil is enough.

大卫：一点儿……好了！A little... done!

奶奶：大卫！那不是一点儿油，那是半瓶！David! That's not a little oil, that's half the bottle!

大卫：通常一点儿，今天多一点儿。小雨工作很累嘛。Usually a little, but a bit more today. Xiaoyu works so hard.
