The story

小雨：哇，车站的人这么多！Wow, the station is so crowded!

大卫：中国的人口都在这儿吧？Is China's entire population here?

小雨：过年嘛。在外地打工的人，一年只回一次家。It's New Year. People working away from home only go back once a year.

大卫：大家都带着大量的东西。这是人类最大的旅行吧？Everyone's carrying loads of stuff. This must be the biggest journey in human history!

大卫：我个子高，我帮你看信息！我们的火车十点一刻出发。I'm tall, I'll check the information board for you! Our train leaves at a quarter past ten.

小雨：现在才八点，还有一段时间。墙角人少一点儿，我们去那儿等吧。It's only eight. We've got a while yet. It's less crowded in the corner. Let's wait there.

大卫：我有信心，今天火车不会晚！I'm confident the train won't be late today!

大卫：不好，信息又变了！我们的火车晚了一个小时。Oh no, the information's changed again! Our train is an hour late.
