马克：今天是我们在西安的第一天。我做了一个完整的计划！Today is our first day in Xi'an. I've made a complete plan!

安娜：完整的计划里，有没有早饭？Does the complete plan include breakfast?

马克：有。可是，首先，我讲一下西安的历史。Yes. But first, let me tell you a little about the history of Xi'an.

马克：西安具有三千多年的历史。在古代，西安是中国的首都。Xi'an has more than three thousand years of history. In ancient times, Xi'an was the capital of China.

大卫：首都？中国的首都不是北京吗？The capital? Isn't Beijing the capital of China?

马克：现在的首都是北京。古代的首都是西安。西安当了一千多年的首都！Today the capital is Beijing. In ancient times the capital was Xi'an. Xi'an was the capital for over a thousand years!

小雨：一千多年……就是十几个世纪！Over a thousand years... that's more than ten centuries!

大卫：十几个世纪？我的国家才两个多世纪！More than ten centuries? My country's only a bit over two centuries old!
