大卫：马爷爷，包子又跑到您家来了？对不起！Grandpa Ma, has Baozi run off to your place again? I'm so sorry!

马爷爷：没关系。进来坐吧，我在看老照片。That's all right. Come in and sit down. I'm looking at some old photos.

大卫：这个漂亮的女人是谁？她抱着一只猫。Who's this pretty woman? She's holding a cat.

马爷爷：这是我太太。她十年前去世了。That's my wife. She passed away ten years ago.

大卫：对不起……我不知道。I'm sorry... I didn't know.

马爷爷：她最喜欢猫。我们家以前也有一只猫。She loved cats more than anything. We used to have a cat too.

大卫：可是您一直说，猫不卫生……But you've always said cats are unhygienic...

马爷爷：她去世以后，我不敢面对猫。一看见猫，我就想她。After she passed away, I couldn't bear to face cats. Every time I saw one, I thought of her.
