The story

安娜：马克，你写了三天了。你在写什么？Mark, you've been writing for three days. What are you writing?

马克：我在创作一本书，是汤圆的生日礼物。I'm creating a book. It's Tangyuan's birthday present.

安娜：给一岁的宝宝写书？Writing a book for a one-year-old?

马克：对。宝宝也需要文学！你听第一句：Yes. Babies need literature too! Listen to the first line:

马克：“在这个复杂的世界上，一只猫的思想……”"In this complex world, the thoughts of a cat..."

安娜：停！汤圆一岁，她不认识字！这一点儿也不生动。Stop! Tangyuan is one. She can't read! That's not lively at all.

马克：不生动？这是很深刻的文学！Not lively? This is very profound literature!

安娜：宝宝的书要生动：要有颜色，要有画儿，要好玩。A baby's book has to be lively: it needs colours, pictures, and it has to be fun.
