The story

大卫：小雨，这是我的房间。这都是我童年的回忆。Xiaoyu, this is my room. These are all memories of my childhood.

小雨：你的床这么短？Your bed's this short?

大卫：十二岁以后，我的脚就在床外边。妈妈给我穿两双袜子。After I turned twelve, my feet stuck out of the bed. Mom put two pairs of socks on me.

小雨：门上这些线是什么？What are all these lines on the door?

大卫：这是我的童年！妈妈每年给我画一条线。That's my childhood! Mom drew a line for me every year.

小雨：这条呢？怎么到墙上了？And this one? How did it get on the wall?

大卫：门不够高了。The door wasn't high enough any more.

小雨：你的回忆都很高。Your memories are all very tall.
